This mix makes a delicious 1 pound cheeseball or a great cheese spread for all you cheese lovers. This dip makes our most popular recipe:
Cheesy Hashbrown Potato Casserole 1 packet Confetti Cheeseball Mix
1 lb. bag of frozen hash brown potatoes
16 oz. sour cream (2 cups)
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) shredded Colby/Jack cheese (set one bag aside)
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) of a cream soup (i.e., cream of potato, cream of mushroom, cream of chicken)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together all ingredients except one pkg. of shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl.
Place in a well greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining 8 oz. bag of cheese evenly over the top.
Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 to 30 minutes until bubbly and lightly
browned on top.
